About the Artist

Experience: 13 Years | Pronouns: He/Him | Languages: English/Spanish

Hey everyone, my name is Aaron Salinas, I’m 44 and I bring 13 years of tattooing experience to the community here in Ocala, Florida.

I’m originally from the Southwest in El Paso, Texas and bring my styles of West Coast/ Chicano, Black & Gray, Realism, and American Traditional to the table. My favorite subjects to tattoo are; In Memorial tattoos, animals, Greco-Roman inspired themes, and sacred geometry.

My inspirations in art and tattooing run the gamut and include many styles and artists that have helped shape me and my artistic aesthetic.

Anime were my roots in drawing and art, with Masamune Shirow leading the charge, later followed by the fantasy art of Yoshitaka Amano. After art school my eyes were opened to the Old Masters of the Renaissance and where I learned the fundamentals of art, fostered those skills and matured. I took inspiration from Caravaggio, Johannes Vermeer, and Fransisco Goya to name a few.

Some tattooers that lent a hand in building my craft are; first and foremost my mentor Dan Juarez, Randy Englehart, Bob Tyrell, Horiyoshi III, and Mark Mahoney. They’re stories, lessons, and inspiration have all contributed to my shaping and place in tattooing.

I hope to give back to the Central Florida community, all the love and blessings it has shown me by; bringing an eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a hygienic but laid-back environment to my craft.

Hit me up and let’s get you set up with a fresh tattoo!

The Booking Process

1. The First Spark: Reach Out

Every great tattoo starts with a conversation. Head to our Booking Form to get started. You’ll be asked to provide details like placement, size, and your general vision.

Tip: Don’t forget to upload your reference photos! These help us see exactly what’s in your head so we can bring it to life.

Once we review your form, we’ll invite you to pick a Consultation Date. This is where we meet (in person or virtually) to discuss the flow of the design, how it fits your anatomy, and any fine details. This ensures we are both on the same page before the needle ever touches skin.

To secure your spot on the calendar, we require a non-refundable deposit. This goes toward the final cost of your tattoo and covers the time spent designing your custom piece. Once the deposit is paid, we will finalize your Tattoo Dates and get you on the books!

The day is finally here! Show up well-rested, hydrated, and fed. We’ll start by applying the stencil to make sure the placement is perfect. Once you’re happy, we get to work. We strive to make our studio a comfortable, safe, and creative environment for everyone.

After the session, we’ll walk you through specific aftercare instructions to ensure your art heals perfectly. By the time you walk out the door, the “client/artist” label is gone—we’re officially best friends. We can’t wait to see those healed photos!

F.A.Q

Q: Do you accept walk-in tattoos or is it appointment only?

A: We maintain a balance of both! We accept walk-ins daily on a first-come, first-served basis for smaller flash pieces or simple script. However, for large custom work, sleeves, or specific artists, we highly recommend booking a consultation first.

  • Tip: Call us at (352) 236-5680 before heading over to check our current wait time.

A: Our Shop Minimum is $100. Beyond that, pricing is based on an hourly rate which varies depending on which artist you are working with.

  • Pro Tip: Pricing is “you get what you pay for.” Come in for a free consultation, and we can give you a solid price estimate before you book.

A: A deposit is required to secure all appointments. All deposits are non-refundable. This deposit goes toward the final cost of your tattoo. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance, or you may forfeit your deposit.

A: This depends entirely on the artist you are working with. Some numbing agents can change the texture of the skin and affect the healing process. Please ask your artist during your consultation before applying any products.

A: No. We maintain a strict policy and do not perform tattoos or piercings on anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent. You must have a valid government-issued photo ID to get tattooed or pierced.

A: Yes, you can. We are a welcoming shop and we know having a friend for moral support helps. Kids are also welcome to hang out, provided they are well-behaved and respectful of the space.

  • The Rule: We are a working tattoo shop with bio-hazardous materials and expensive equipment. If guests (or kids) become a distraction to the artist or touch the equipment, they will be asked to wait outside. Keep it chill, and we’re good!
